My Infomercial Girl
So my little Molly Ann has been cracking me up the past few weeks. I have to preface this with we have a little rabbit ears for our TV reception and so we get these weird channels(half of which are in spanish) but there is one in particular that only has Infomercials as their commercials. Always selling something. Well these are played all the time, even during kids shows. Not exactly smart advertising when you are trying to sell the "Titan Peeler" to a 3-5 year old audience, but whatever. Well, she keeps telling me "You need to get the..." Today it was, wow mom, you have cracks in your feet, they have this thing on TV that you get and you rub it on and it makes your feet like a "baby's bottom." Yesterday, she told me we need to get some "snake" that goes down the drain and gets clogs out. "It works EVERY time mom." It is hilarious. Today she told me about "whitening toothpaste that is safe for the whole family!" I have a walking infomercial in my house. She really has been growing up a lot lately, and had to post so I can remember her at this age.

-All three at Grandma O's for a "third of July" Picnic.

Molly's finger

In what seemed like Molly's 100th trip to the ER in her lifetime, she ended up squirting the ER doc in the face with blood. :-) She slammed her finger in the door(well, to be exact, her brother slammed her finger in the door). She cried like crazy, but you never know with her. She gets poked by her brother and can do the same thing sometimes. But then after an hour, I knew it was actually bad. After icing it, and motrin, I thought it would be okay. Well, after a couple of days of her not doing much and waking up in the middle of the night, we decided to put a hole in the nail. We burned a needle and poked it through. Lots of blood came out, and we thought it was possibly fixed. But no. It just stayed really black...solid black.(you'll notice the coloring is now at least varied) It was so hideous. These pictures are after her visit to the ER where they said we just needed to make a bigger hole. Of course. :-) When they poked it through the nail, it shot right into the docs face...then he gave it a little squeeze and shot the nurse right in the eye. So, needless to say, quite a bit of pressure behind that nail. She is doing great, and it now just looks like a gross nail...not the hideous almost gangrenous thing we were calling her finger. Hooray.

Slept through...
So I love waking up at 6 am...and getting to sleep through the night for the first time in what seems like a year. I sleep horrible when I am pregnant...and Hansen is almost 3 months....so 9 hours of sleep is like sweet sweet heaven. :-) Way to go Hansen. So proud. I am also putting on his paddy cake video. He is just learning to laugh and talk. So fun.

Graduation!
Our first born has graduated! Big time stuff. After a few songs, I was taking Garrett to the potty and then Hansen needed to eat. So I got to see about half of it. But hey...there will be more graduations right?! She did great and in the middle of it all, right before another song, she stands up(at this point I am thinking, What are you doing? As is every other parent) She calmly walks over to the corner of that huge rug and folds it back down(it had been kicked up and no OCD girl of mine was going to have one thing out of place for her big day) :-) Great day! Another great part was the girl next to Molly wouldn't sing at all(mind you they sang 15 or so songs). Her parents just had this look on their faces while they held their cameras...hoping....just hoping. :-)

Garrett is 3!
Our Garrett just turned three yesterday. He is saying some pretty funny stuff, so I am going to post some "Garrettisms"-Molly asked Garrett to come and play with her. He says, "Um, sowwy, actuawwy I am a big bad wowf right now."
-A little girl was bossing Garrett around. He says, "You're not the boss of me, Mollsy is."
-We were in a hurry, I told him to just go in "bare feet" he responds, "bear feet!" And ran off and came back in Molly's bear slippers. he was pretty excited.
-I asked him how his popcorn was. "I wuv popcorn, I ate a seed, it is too hard to squish in my tummy see?" As he proceeds to give himself some sort of heimlich maneuver.
-I asked him how camping was with daddy. "daddy's my best fwiend." How many marshmallows did you have? --"Pwenty...Pwenty."
He is such a fun boy right now. When people would leave yesterday after the party, they would say "Happy Birthday Garrett!" He would respond with "Happy Birfday"
-Today he woke up and asked, "I'm still free(three) wight mom?"
He tries to show everything to his brother Hansen whether it is his shiny new rock or his new batman toy, and he always says..."Isn't it so CUUUUTE Hansen?" It is pretty funny.
-"Mom did you know that JAIL is just a reallllly long time out?"
-A 3 year old asked him, "Are you three?" Garrett, "Um ya but der is no more cake, i actually aweady had it."
-Garrett, "Mom, you are my best friend..." Me, "I love you so very very much Garrett." Garrett, "I love you so very very much too Mom." :-)
"Fank you foe dis nummy dinna! Mom, you da best cooker"
"It's not faiw mom, it's just not faiw...mom...what does faiw mean?"
Well...that is the only things I can remember about him right now. These will be great memories in years to come.

I loved it when he got buried, because he would just sit there...it made the beach much more relaxing. :-)
